I guess they really vary from area to area. Just washed the wife's van yesterday and it got quite a few more on it today taking the kids to school. It really seemed like they hadn't been as bad the last few years, but this year they've been pretty thick. Maybe it was just seeing them thru a child's eyes, but they sure seemed much thicker back in the 70s and 80s.

Hit them with a dryer sheet first thing in the morning. The morning dew softens them up really nicely. They have been thick in the northeastern Ocala NF the last three weeks.
