So, I have parts on order and waiting for them to get here for my FHTF builds. And I like OD green, you know, 'cause we don't live in a fucking desert.
I have a black black rifle, one done with foliage green, FDE, and soon one in O.D. Magpul stuff, but... Centurion arms rail is going to go on another build which I would like to dress out in O.D. and I've been looking at rail cover options, and they suck. Maybe I am just far too spoiled by my tango down scar panels, but the magpul XT and XTM panels just aren't doing it for me, same for the troys. I saw the old KAC panels and liked them, but you can't get them anywhere short of trading unobtainium nowadays, so.... anyone have a good suggestion for some O.D. green rail covers? Next on the list, the stock. While I am totally in love with the Magpul STR atm I also believe variety is the spice of life, and while if push comes to shove I will run another STR on the second current build, I would like to explore my options (which seem ridiculously limited in O.D.). I was hopeful that B5 would offer the sopmod in O.D. but no dice  I also really liked the MFT Battlelink but they only come in black, FDE, foliage and .... grey.... wtf...
Anyone have a suggestion for a solid functional stock in O.D. that's not the standard Magpul offerings? |

Damage USA stock looks pretty decent, I'll probably give that a go.
I like the israeli defense stocks, but wish they had a enhanced cheek weld, or at least one you could add like the riser they offer. If I were going to go the paint route I'd just go all in and do the aervoe on the entire gun, but I'm just not ready to pull the trigger on that. Yes I have no intention of selling any of my guns atm, but hey, who can predict what the future holds. Painted gun vs factory finish parts, you're losing value. |

FWIW...I just got this in the SHTF Brown and it is a very nice stock. Very very similar to my VLTOR IMOD, except w/o the line to get your beard hairs stuck in. It is a little bigger and weighs a little more. Plus the are hella cheap. |
