Just saw references to this new 500 yard!!! range. What's the deal with them? When do they open? Can you shoot for a day or do you have to join?
I've been wanting to try some long range shooting but did not want to drive all the way to Bradenton. Can't wait til they open. |

More info please...only range I know of longer than the 200 yard ones around here is Manatee Gun Club, and they go out to 1k. Palm Beach sheriff's range is open one weekend a month and on that sunday it opens the 200 yard range. And every few months they open it to 300 yards on Sunday. The next 300 yard sunday is in September. The schedule is posted on line. |
