Going to visit a friend in Lely Village in Naples.

My wife says there is a Walmart near by.

Does that Walmart or any other Walmart close by sell ammo/ gun safes/ ect.

Thanks, Mike

If I  remember correctly, that is one of the smaller Walmarts. Only been in it once or twice so I'm not sure if they have a gun counter. All of the other Walmarts do. Except the Neighbor store on Airport Pulling Rd.

I don't know about the one on 951. They have guns at the Super Wal-Mart @ I-75 and Exit 111 (Immokalee Rd). I believe they have EBR's too.

Last time I was there they had a small selection but also had some really random ammo calibers ~ when queried the genius said corp does all the ordering.  I would assume that walmart's super computer figured out all the walking dead on Marco and...eclectic folks of Everglades City have a few throwback weapons that require feeding.

Ok thanks.

Any other stores to pick up 12 and 20 gauge shells cheap for clay targets?

Edited to add:

How is that area?

Safe?

Nice?

Thoughts?

Hate to say stick to chinamart but in Naples, they have the best prices.  As far as your other questions, area is ok by collier standards.  If you go west toward downtown there is an area called Lely that is "the other side of the tracks" by Naples standards....which is to say fine unless it is dark and you have $20's hanging out of your pockets, and a "rob me" sign pinned to your back.

Nice is a matter of perspective but again Naples has a rare case of cleanliness that is hard to beat anywhere in the country.  Even in the French Quarter the streets are clean and the medians are manicured.

You can get some great deals on property in that area as they were the hardest hit by the downturn but if you are vaca'ing, have fun and don't worry.

Thanks.

I'm flying down so I will not be packing.

I am buying a shotgun and shipping it down there to leave permanently at my friends place.

I am going to buy him a small safe as a house present and a place to leave my gun.

Just want to be able to shoot some clays while visiting.
