Hello all, I'll be visiting Broward County around Margate and Coconut Creek Casino next week. Just wondering what areas to avoid (neighborhoods).
Also which cool gun stores around or ranges in the area..... Thanks in advance friends, got my non-resident permit ready and ready to search around.

there are 3 casinos, 2 are close to each other. the hard rock is a bit of a drive.
Sample and 441 thats a decent area , and there is the ISLES on Powerline just south of Atlantic. parts near that one not so nice after dark. several strip clubs not far from either if your looking to do that to. most are near the ISLes , hard rock is on the reservation kinda of so big its its own neighborhood. All the areas right off I-95 in pompano not that great. stay off hammondville. Some of the strip clubs in a rough area too. There is security at the casinoes just not sure how great it is. MArgate is hit or miss, parts ok, parts not, used to be a lot of wannabe gangbanger thugs. not sure anymore. Coconut Creek is ok once you past Broward College, Dixie hwy north of 62nd/cypress creek is rough after dark. if your not familar just make sure you got plenty of gas before you go driving so you dont have to stop. lot of shit happens at gas stations and walgreens at night around here. its not the wild west by any means, but if you break down people will harass the shit out of you in the bad areas to help you or give you a ride. dont listen to that shit. that and people will hit you up for change etc. As for Gun stores, if you want to see a lot these 5 stores should be on your list. Lee's Pawn, they close at 7 during the week and 4 on saturday National Armory some good prices, decent selection, indoor rifle range. some things expensive Only the Best, expensive somewhat , great selection GunTech odd hours, hard to find, piss ant little sticker on the door inside the yard of another place, roofing or some shit Arizona Shooting Range. nice range, a little picky on shooting sometimes, pretty good selection, a couple bargains, but most stuff is marked pretty high. MArkam park, its a outdoor range only. odd hours sometimes, and closed parts of the year not sure about currently revere gun range, they have a small amount for sale, but range prices are very reasonable, its old and hot but its cheap. you can google all of these,. but if you need links ill look them up. |
