I'm a big believer in truth, honesty and fairness.
So, in fairness I would like to take back, or change my opinion of B&H Gun Rack in Merritt Island Florida. In the past, they have popped up here in several threads, and I have been the first to pile on and declare them to be arrogant, over priced assholes. This week I had a different experience. I needed some .308 ammo and was taking a class in the area, so I stopped in on my lunch break. They had Federal 175 Seirra Match for $25 a box, and American Tactical(Federal) .308 150 grains for $14 a box. Very reasonable. I bought two boxes of each. I didn't have a lot of time to check the gun prices, but I did look in the pistol cases while waiting to be rang up, and saw some very reasonable prices. They were very busy, but when I got to the register, the staff was courteous and polite, if not friendly. So I feel I must retract my previous statements that were derogatory of them. Perhaps they were having a bad day the times I was there before, or maybe they changed. I'm not in there often enough to recognize staff. That is all. |

How interesting... There was some speculation in a thread a while back that one of them (the owner, actually, now that I think about it) was going to "branch off" and open his own "cop only" shop, or something along those lines. Maybe that actually happened, and this is the result?
I won't be back in Brevard until November or December, but I'll check it out then and see how they are. Thanks for the heads up. |
