Any .mil guys going to be affected by this if it goes on for awhile or even in the short term? Ie. deployed with wives and and kids at home or whatever the situation may be? Maybe we can get a network set up and be ready to give support locally, ie. on a county basis, as needed? I'm game for Escambia/Santa Rosa.

Me.  Gov employee here in Orlando.  We have been told to report to work Monday morning for instructions on how to go home for the furlough.

I'm starting to hear that from my uniformed military buds out there.  I guess it's so much of a problem that DFAS has shutdown MyPay temporarily.  Word is everyone will be paid on the 15th, but it will be half of whwat it's supposed to be.

Vanessa is your husband deployed?  Let me know if you need anything.  I'm one of the 800K that will be sent home, but our agency is trying to provide what they can for spouses of deployed soldiers.

Cool.  Looks like we are okay for now.  Well, at least until Thursday when we may do this all over again.
