I just started a meetup group for firearms and tactics training in theMiami, Palm Beah, Broward and Martin County area The idea being that we can locally share ideas, classes, products, competitions revues etc. Meet up shoot the shit etc......Anyway, here it is.

ETA: I just signed up but maybe I misunderstood this. Seems like you are using this more to promote your classes than to "share ideas, classes, products, competitions revues". 6/7 meet-ups you have scheduled are your classes. I think that is a great idea but unless you are adding classes from other instructors, or will allow such, than your post should of been worded differently. ps: I don't really teach public classes anymore so don't take this as me wanting to compete with you. I just thought it would be a great idea to share knowledge and discuss future training opportunities from varied instructors. |

Thanks fot signing up..... I just posted the events that I have to get the group started. The idea is to share, educate etc. I am more that happy to post other classes, events etc….In fact I plan to add IDPA, Steel Matches, IPSC events etc. I want and need input from other shooters to make the meet up successful, especially in the Miami Dad and Martin County areas. I am going to plan a monthly meet, greet and shoot event for all the members to hang out. Any ideas are appreciated. Cheers Will |

Part owner of TES and the lead instructor for the training division www.floridafirearmstraining.com We teach at Okeechobee and Delray…..as well as other locations around Florida and even across the USA. As such we have websites, youtube channel and face book page along with being on multiple forums. The idea of this meet up group was a result of multiple conversations with students and fellow instructors, friends etc. The objective of the meet up group is: 1. Give shooters a place to meet in person, share ideas, shoot together, exchange firearms training techniques, try out firearms, learn, discuss, and shoot. 2. Somewhere where we can all post events that are firearms and firearms training related for others. 3. Try to bring together shooters, instructors, gunsmiths etc…..so we can meet, help each other and have fun. No hidden agenda. The meet ups to date as those on MY personal calendar / know of, I need input from the members to add others that could be of interest. Cheers Will |
