| My son (15) and I are planning to head to Florida over spring break, we are planning on doing some bass fishing and maybe some surf/flats type fishing. I plan on using a guide for this as we will only have a few days to fish while we are down there. I have found lots of info online, but thought I should try the hometown crowd out and see if there is anybody or specific area you guys could recommend. Thanks in advance for any help you guys can provide! |
| Lake Okeechobee is the obvious suggestion for Bass fishing, although there are a lot of great places in FL for that. Check out Clewiston, south side of Lake O, or Okeechobee on the north side of the lake. You could then head west and find some great flats fishing around the Ft Myers area or up around Charlotte Harbor. |
