Perp jumped over the counter and hit the Pharmacist from behind without any warning. Cowardly and bold all at the same time. Happened during my old shift, wife is happy that I wasn't there. I noticed that my local Walgreens put up partitions on the counter of the pharmacy. I did not understand but now see that they could hamper an attempt to jump over the counter. Some steel cables stretched horizontally over the counter could work also and would not break the bank. |
