I just got back from a 18 day business trip to Nevada last night , when I walked to get in my car today I found that someone had nailed it . so I call the insure company and they  tell me I have to file a report before they can start a claim .
I really hate dishonest people , 500 bucks I coulda spent somewhere else
Jso seemed very helpful though , said they keep a eye for a yellow car with blue paint rubbed on it

Damn that does suck.  I get GREAT PLEASURE in finding and arresting Hit & Run drivers... but it does not happen often.

Hit & Run cases are often hard to make because they happen so quickly and people don't really get a good look at the driver.

That's pretty standard. I had the same thing happen & that's what I had to do.  Even if the police report didn't contain anything, it's a police record & it's illegal to file false police reports so if the insurance co ever proved it wasn't a hit & run & your scamming them they have legal weight.

Had a hit and run on my truck a couple months ago. Ripped the back bumper off. Got the bumper, and lower rear fenders replaced (lower plastic cladding). Insurance didn't care about a report oddly enough (USAA).

Last week. I put gas in my truck and look down at the cladding that was just replaced and see a gouge with holes and the fender pushed in. I'm like... "I give up". Other side a a gouge up it also now also...

Both sides of my rear panels between the tire and the bumper on my truck have been hit multiple times. Retards start turning to get out of the parking space without looking and hit it with regularity.
