New member here (but been lurking the tech and FL forums for a couple years), just thought I'd register and say Howdy. I'm in Tallahassee and just started my first AR build (just have the stripped lower so far). Are there any other Tallahassee/FSU members here? If so, do you guys have meet-ups often? I've learned a ton from this site just from browsing and I know I'll continue to learn a lot more from you all throughout my build. Yeah I've been planning on spectating one of those shoots for a while now, I'm sure I'll find some time to watch eventually. Hell, once my AR build is finished and I've learned it well enough, I'll probably participate. I've done numerous USPSA shoots so I know how fun competitive shooting is. Welcome! I'm one of the non-old fart Tallahassee members. Good to see you here. We don't really have Arfcom meetings in this area often, though we're usually good for a camping trip sometime during the cooler months. I've been a bit lax on planning one for this winter, yet, but I'll get on it. We usually try to make the trip in conjunction with the FDCC shoots and in the forest nearby, so that we just make a weekend of it. You get done with that AR, let me know and we'll go try it out at the range. |
