I'm about an hour away and try to get to matches every month. I need a good place to do some quality shooting/training. Have a few questions: are you allowed to sling your rifle (w/ safety on) and transition to pistol? or do you have to put each weapon on a table? I looked at the rules and didnt see any nonsense about virgina count. Do you use virginia count? I'll be the guy wearing armor which I always try to put it on. I shoot that way in the Army and like to practice that way too. See you soon. CPT K |
| Pistols may be worn in a holster and are sometimes used. However, they do NOT leave the holster under any circumstances unless you are in the course of fire. Safety is paramount and we make use of the 4 safety rules. But it's a great time and I highly advise getting involved. No matter how much you already know, how much training you have, there's still some things you can get from it. |
