| What light are you using for your safe? |
|
Quoted:
Those 3" round battery operated LED lights usually sold in three packs at Home Depot. The kind you push the lenses for on/off. You can mount them with loop velcro on the back of the light and it sticks to the carpet. For a more permanent install put a screw through the battery compartment plate and the fixture twists on it. http://i369.photobucket.com/albums/oo134/rlr350/IMG_2450.jpg I saw something like that at Harbor Freight...3pack for $14. I like the idea of pushing the lens to turn on vs trying to find the on switch. Thanks! |

| They provide enough light for power outages and you can put them where ever you want inside. They sell a bigger version that should be considered for on a wall outside the safe so you can see the lock in a power outage. They are about six inches and will provide enough light to get it open in case you don't have a light on the mechanism itself. |
| this is a link to what my safe looks like with the lights on safe lights |

I like that! Looks great. |

I have two florescent lights in mine about 12" long. One screwed under the shelf and one screwed above the door. I have a liberty safe and there is a rolled edge around the inside of the door. I used 1/4" screws and screwed them between the lip. Hope that helps you. |
