Coming to Destin from TN next week, any ideas on gunshops, etc?

| The only one I've been to is Patriot Arms. It's in Shalimar, off highway 85. It's a small shop, but the owner's a very nice guy, and if there's something he doesn't have, he'll try to help you find it. There's also the huge friggin' Bass Pro in Destin Commons, which will probably have something gun-related, but I've not looked around much in there. |

I appreciate the heads up!
I stopped in Pcola for the angels show, it was awesome. On the way out, stopped at some gunshop that was mostly tackle. I also stopped at Jays and they were probably the nicest bunch I've run across on a trip. Most of the gunshops I've visited on the road are asshats as soon as they figure out I'm a tourist. I stopped at the Destin Gulfarium. It was great for the kids. We did McGuires, twice. I'd move there for the Shepherd's Pie. It was a successful trip, got through before the oil hit. Spending time there when it was nice makes my really pissed at BP. Thanks! |
