Well I live in south Miami and trying to find
a place that has a wide supply of reloading goodies
is harder than the rocks I have for brains.

Does anyone know a supplier of gun powders
and primers in south Dade county or even Broward county?

I have had a press and all the tools for reloading
for some years and have decided to do it again but it
is like trying to purchase .380 auto ammo; impossible
or costing an arm and leg and for those that know
me I only have one leg left :-).

I am going to try National gun shop today, they had a lot of
reloading stuff back when I bought my Python there for 195 bucks new
in 1971. wish me luck. Hell I don't know if their still there on NW 22nd ave.

I find the gun shows are a good place to obtain powder and primers to avoid any extra charges, but do price shop as lately it is cheaper to purchaser some powder onLine and pay the HazMat fee and its still cheaper than the shows.

Check the EE as there are always presses and other components listed there.

Bass Pro in Dania Beach is the best so far in South FLA...

I order directly with Dillon or RCBS if I need anything related to those reloading products...

Also Markham Park Skeet and Trap club has a few folks that are vendors that sell reloading products to us members...

I know it's a hike, but the Gander Mountain in Palm Beach Gardens has everything for reloading. You can walk out of there with everything except for a bench.

Pantera off NW 36 Street.
Several new warehouse stores by Tamiami Airport.
Gun shows very limited and very pricey.
Dillon's Good as is Natchez Shooting Supplies, Wideners and Midsouth.
Midway's not too bad but watch their prices.

went to pantera and they had some stuff but not what I would call a reloading shop. They were very helpfull
with the stuff they had.
went ot bass pro in ft lauderdale and they only had a few cans of powder and no other reloading stuff.
decided to road trip 166 miles total round trip to and from gander mountain and was worth it,
they have it all including primers I got 1,000 small pistol primers (federal small pistol), bullet heads
by different manufacturers, and a can of IMR powder. They also have a full stock of ammo like there
is no shortage, the only calaber I did not see was .380 auto I was impressed, It is like it should be
as for prices well I sure they are not as cheep as I would like but they had the stuff. just my opnion .02 cents worth

Googling bullethead doesn't bring up anything related to reloading. Or anything you really want to see!

OK, sorry kids that is what my father called them for 50 some years of my life.
I'll be more politically correct and call them bullets. we all happy now?
It does give way to someone sucking on on a bullet, not a stationary one either
know what I mean?

At least you didn't call them "tips".

National Gun in Miami also has reloading supplies. Jack usually has primers in stock as well as some bullets and powders.

I know it's too far for you, but I was in the Orlando Bass Pro last week and was surprised at the amount of reloading stuff they had.  There's also a little place in Melbourne (John's Precision Cast Bullets) that has everything.  He does his own bullet casting, and will make anything you want to your specs......at least he did last time I was in there.
