Good day today - couldn't shoot worth a shit today, but I guess that's the way it goes. Oh well.

See you all in November.

Thank you Marcus.

I really wanted to let you know how much the photos mean to us.  I really like the action photos; you managed to get one pic with my slide back in action, and another of me running which really conveys the dynamic environment.

Again, Thank You,
Rob Schroeder

Your welcome Rob....I like the photo's for a couple of reasons...1, It shows to the rest of the world how responsible gun owners behave...2. When running the COF you  never really have time to examine what worked for you and what didnt, sometimes these pictures can help 3, Even if my scores suck I can still have the hope of at least looking cool doing it

I had a great time as usual.  It's always good to see the crew.  Had a lot of fun and learned never again to use the crappiest holster ever developed for my Makarov.  I've been trying to prove a point using Russian gear the past several months but might have to eat it and revert back to my previous gear.  I'm actually getting to where I miss my M4 as I haven't shot it in months.  Thanks again to the guys taking the pics and especially to the folks that make it happen every month.  See everybody in Novemeber (unless we can put something together somehow for next month).

Clearly, I have a 'Top 29 of FDCC' rifle.

On the other hand, I am reasonably pleased with my pistol.

What I lack for in substance, I make up for in flair.

My favorite part of the day is when Mike/Mark (?) decapitated the silouette!  Even better was when Norm got pissed and karate chopped the poor decapitated guy and then kicked it while it was down.  What a team.

I just got a call from a guy who left a couple range bags out there. If anyone picked them up, he asked me to leave his number here so you can call him.; 904-614-6337

Yeah, that point about using my Russian gear was proven pretty well.  Mainly that damn Makarov holster.  Jeez!  That thing just sucks.  While the Ruskies make a quick-release holster for the Makarov that's made out of plastic (it simultaneously slides the pistol out whilst chambering at the same time if you set it up that way) I can't seem to find it anywhere.  But I think I'll be switching back to my AR and Glock by the next shoot.  I just don't have any ammo for much of anything anymore.  I hardly bought anything over the past year since the gun-panic started and I'm not paying $800 for 1K rounds of Wolf .223 but looks like things are getting back to normal again.  Good thing...

"Fail"???

I say FTW, Neil out-shot us with a chair attached to his belt.  Maybe he should wear a chair from now on as a handicap. :)

On the other hand, maybe it helps - how much were those tactical chairs again?

Please accept my formal apology for the embarrassing AK-74 I had to slap the bolt closed on every round.  Especially sad when I was trying to show off to the girl friend....oh well.... communist weapons!

Other than that, it was a great time! Look forward to it November!

Sorry Martin!

John I thought it was great that you had to keep throwing your 74 into battery.  Natasha should be even more impressed after that.  How did those pics I took on your camera turn out?

[#25]
Your 74 was failing to return to battery?  I need more specifics on that.  I know I haven't been fairing as well lately with my Ruski gear but your gun shouldn't be malfunctioning.  I'd be more than happy to take a look at it if something isn't cycling right.
