Question #4a) Do you qualify for exemption from the public records law as provided by Section 119.071(4)(d), Florida Statues.

Jezz, I'm reading the application notes and the actual Florida Statues and I can't figure it out. Not being a public servant it seems that anyone who is a concealed weapons license holder qualifies until the sunset law date of Oct 2, 2012. So I'm probably going to answer yes I qualify and yes keep my information confidential. Any help would be appreciated.

FYI, I'm applying as a non-resident.

I'd answer no if I were you. If the law isn't renewed before the sunset your CWL would be public record. I'd hate to be DQ'ed or investigated more for checking yes when you don't qualify.

I do qualify, and checked yes.

Finally contacted a person at the Florida Agricultural office and asked about question 4a and 4b. She said unless I'm law enforcement I should check no to question 4a and yes to 4b.
