i had the same problem. it took about a month after i joined to get on. i had to contact MOE here since hes a admin there to get my account activated.

If they don't have the correct CAPTCHA images in place, it may be hard for them to tell the difference between "real" people and bots that try to join.

With that being said, it took me several times to get my account approved and activated.

This. Had the same problem and Moe took care of it very quickly. He's a nice guy but don't cross him after you join. He can make things "unplesant" for you.
