FDCC pics...give em time the are still uploading Marcus |
They said some dummy always forgets eye and ear protection and it shows up in the pics. Well, it was me this time. Ear protection was on my head, but not on my ears . It was my first time and I was a little nervous, sorry. You'd think I would have noticed when it was really loud, but it never even registered with me. I had a good time and will be back. Next month I'll try my ear protection on my ears and see how that works Edit: now that a few more pics are up, it looks like I did manage to cover my ears on the second run |
| Had fun today and had to flake right before the second COF. Thanks again to all the guys setting up and all the folks taking pics. I made the mistake of running out of there without throwing money in the coffer so that's my mistake. I'll be making up for the slack in next month's shoot. I wanna do my part to make sure this thing stays going.... |

Didn't make it out today...decided I needed more gear and more trigger time before I start running around like a fool. Maybe next month ;-) As long as you have a sling and a strong side holster and maybe a couple pockets to put mags you'd be fine. I've had some pretty novice shooters come out and borrow my gear (including guns) and shoot. As long as you are Safe and don't NEED to be in first then you'll have fun. Plus you get to meet other like minded individuals and kinda hang out and see what it's all about. |

BTW - the 6940 is a blast to shoot. |

There's another Video with another video cut next to it. Kind of shows the course of fire as well. |

You guys know I'd be down for an anything but an AR carbine course. However, it does detract from things a bit as the shoot is mainly focused on educating ourselves as to which gear and techniques work and which ones don't. I know I've learned quite a bit. Also, I'm not sure everybody necessarily has other carbines to use. Not everybody has an AK.
By the way, Diablo, hoping my Form 4 gets approved FINALLY before the next shoot this month. It went pending June 18th and is still currently in pending status. It's like waiting for Christmas.......which is ironically when I bought my Krink in the first place! |

I'm interested in this , who , where , when ? Who? FDCC but basically anyone that wants to shoot a tactical self defense/ tactical style course of fire. Where? lake city shooting range.FDCC location When? last sunday of every month with the exception of October. What to bring? Rifle with at least 100 rounds. Sling is recommended also some sort of way to carry rifle mags. Pistol with strong side Holster and extra mags. usually recommend 50 rounds of pistol. |
