I am down in the Cape visiting family and today we went to Webb today. It was busy but not overly so.
Some guy hands me a business card and tell me he sells parts and AR related gear. I asked him if he was a member of afrcom and he asked what that was? I said Ar15.com. He said "no, those guys are assholes". I thought to myself he just called me an asshole but i just blew it off. Then we finish on the rifle range and go the the pistol range. I noticed these guys come up and put some things on a shooting bench just as I started shooting a 1911. I get 3 rounds off and one of these guys that just got there yelled "can we get a cold range?" I shoot another shot and he yells out the same thing. I am aiming for another shoot and he yells it again. I turned and looked at him and see that he is yelling this at me. I told him I would be happy to make the range cold after I finish the mag I'm on. He looked pissed. I finished the mag and stepped back and advise him that that he was acting improperly and he just looked perplexed. Well the range goes cold and this guy goes out to the target frame and then realizes he left something in the car and he had to run out to his car and then goes back to his target frame. WTF are wrong with these people? |

Didnt you know the world was centered around this guy? LOL probably someone who thinks hes "the man" and that others need to recognize it.
Sounds like you handled it pretty well though.....Good Job! If i would have needed a cold range i would have atleast asked you when you finished the mag. You should have answered like this. Idiot: "Can i get a cold range?" You: "NO!!! not untill i finish my magazine" Idiot: "I need to put up targets" You: " Get your Sh1t ready so we can go hot again without delay" Idiot: remembers he left stuff in the car and stammers out there and gets it. I rather deal with the assholes here in ar15.com then the idiots in "certain" forums that I monitor. I've found a bunch of morons who have never built, owned or fired a type of firearm or accessories yet post the same BS passed down from other morons. at least around here folks build their own guns. On these other forums pussies constantly complaining about too much weight and loud noise. It's unbelievable. 
...and those forums are supposedly folks who have so many credentials, medals and big-shot avatars that one would expect them to make ANY gun or accessory work...fuck was I wrong. 
..and as if you don't get enough of this you also get it at some range. |

Don't really have many options as far as range selection is concerned if you live in Cape....I just try to go real early in the morning and/or during weekdays. | I have one better, I went to the range today everything went well, As we are packing up a guy walks up to a lane with a nice 9mm sbr. I ask him where he had it build as I am in the market for a reliable 9mm. He says he bought it at a private sale, So I ask how that worked with a SBR as he would need to register it and get a stamp. He looked at me as if I was an alien and stated I dont need some dam govt stamp allowing me to own a SBR. End of story we left |

This guy was not a Big guy, He was about 5'9" and was in good shape. |
