I have searched the stickied threads, and I was wondering what number, are you all calling to find out the status of your submission? They cashed my check on the 29th of October, and still havent received anything? Just looking for a phone number, and is this usual for the wait?

| You may not be getting your ccw untill Jan or Feb. sorry to say. If you call them the only thing they usually tell you is its been summitted or its being processed. they wont give you an ETA. Hopefully you got electronic fingerprints as well because if they are ink theres a 90% chance they will be kicked back and you will have to do the wait all over again. |

They quote 90 days from the time they BEGIN to process your app.
I absolutely hate the Florida CCW law and process. Although the RKBA is in both the US and the Florida Constitution, the State reserves the right to disenfranchise you unless you PAY the state a fee. CCW is a huge money maker for Florida. The State also knows it is short staffed, and refuses to hire any more people. They care nothing about quickly fulfilling their end of the deal. |
