A guy I know plans to hunt with an ar-15 with a 5 round magazine. He also hunts with a M-1 Rifle with a modified 5 round clip.
What are the rules on this matter ?
I have read the book and it is a little foggy.

it is my understanding that as long as he has a 5 round mag in his AR, he is good to go

What kind of game? He may need a larger round.

Florida it is A OK. People have taken hogs here and the deer are small enough with proper shot placement.
