Hey guys,

I had an accident a little while ago that is basically being put on me because of a "witness" and the type of car I have, when I had the right away and was not in the wrong. I feel that it is going into a direction that will not be good for me and I will need legal help to receive money for my damages. No one received a ticket.

Any ideas for the south Florida area?

Be careful who you deal with.  Some lawyers will set you up with sham doctors that only work to bilk insurance companies.  You do not want to get inadvertantly mixed up with a fraud ring.  Trust me the negative impacts on your life can be worse than an auto accident.

I couldn't tell from your post if you were worried about being sued or if you want to sue the other driver.  If you are worried about being sued you need to call your insurance company, they should set you up with one of their attorneys.  If you want to sue make sure to check out any prospective lawyer carefully.  I would call the Florida Bar lawyer referal program for recommendations.
