 TALLAHASSEE, FL (AP) -- Police say a 23-year-old man shot himself in the leg while he was cleaning his gun. David McCranie, a spokesman for the Tallahassee Police Department, said William Gilliard was taken to a local hospital after he shot himself early Wednesday morning with his .45-caliber Glock. | Does anyone notice how it's always "while cleaning his gun" when someone shoots themselves?. I just think it's one of those lines people say when they mess up, kinda like "the dog ate my homework" or "a dog ran out into the road and I had to swerve into this parked car to avoid it". I'm sure it actually happens, but I have some doubts about the frequency... |
