I sent out a form 4 this week. Below are the dates/updates. Hope this helps someone looking for a time line ... ___________________________________________________________________- Mailed form 4 USPS w/Deliver Confirmation : July 1st ATF in Atlanta Receives the package: July 3rd Check Clears: July 8th Goes Pending: Received back form 4: ____________________________________________________________________ My guess would be I would get it back around the first week of September ... |

It will never happen. The acting director of BATFE is Michael J. Sullivan, a former U.S. attorney who cut his teeth as an antigun crusader. It is no coincidence that his takeover as acting director (late 2006/early 2007) coincides with when NFA approval times started slowing down again. He is doing everything in his power to make it more difficult for civilians to legally acquire NFA items, including allowing NFA Branch staffing levels to drop to all-time lows. If he won't replace needed staff promptly, he is not going to spend the $$$ to create an online system that will be counter to his goals. His lifelong dream is to take away all civilian-owned guns, both Title 1 and Title 2. |
Damn. I just sent another Form 1 in on 8/1 Guess I won't even bother calling till end of Sept.

I don't want to take up any more of thier time than I need to. On a side note, I should be getting my M96 in a few weeks if all goes according to plan.
