Miami area FFL transfer > Florida

Was checking out a few gunshops in the Miami area today and the three I visited all charged $40-50 for a transfer

. Anyone know any dealers in the Miami area that are cheaper?

Another +1 for Security Arms Int'l. Great people, great customer service.

In the interest of disclosure, I am partnered with them, and they are the exclusive representative/distributor of my custom work. However, I wouldn't be partnered with them if I didn't think they were top notch. Give them a try, I think you'll be VERY satisfied.

re:SAI: I tried to transfer with them this week. They dont accept transfers from individuals, only from an FFL. So I am using South Dade Jewlery and Gun (SW Dade, by Southland Mall). $35 transfers.

Don't know where you live but if you live in south dade take the ride to key Largo

I would say KIFFNEY'S is the best price he charges 20 bucks for the first gun 10 bucks each after, there nice guys phone is 305 451 0043

I had to drive to Key West this week so I stopped in Kiffney's, he wanted $43 per transfer.

I'm sorry that you ran into that. I just called them and we discussed this, and they're doing a quick meeting to see if they want to re-evaluate their position on transfers from out of state. I'll post ASAP when I have their decision.

They are nice guys and I want to send business their way. If I was ordering a new gun I wouldn't hesitate to stop by, but I found a nice deal here on the boards, and needed the transfer.

Sorry for the delayed reply. Security Arms International is now accepting out-of-state transfers from non-FFLs. I don't know what they charge, but knowing them, it'll be reasonable.
