Guys, I read the FAQ's and the FL Law, but I am a little confused about one of the places off- limits.

790.06 (12) says: "any portion of an establishment licensed to dispense alcoholic beverages for consumption on the premises, which portion of the establishment is primarily devoted to such purpose;"

Should I read this as including restaurants such as Longhorn, and Applebee's as well as bars, or is it just for bars?

Thanks in advance.

Stay out of the bar areas in this type of establishment.

Correct. You're good to go as long as you are in the portion of the establishment devoted primarily to the service of food. Stay out of the area of the establishment designated for the primary service of alcohol.

Thanks a lot.

My wife and I are in Panama City with my little sister and some of her friends.  I feel much more comfortable knowing that we can go out to eat and not be disarmed.
