Just curious about the best shops in Orlando that have the most samples of ARs? Or even the largest selection of guns in general? Thanks |

FL Gun exchange in NSB has an entire wall dedicated to AR-15's. If you're looking for just the rifle, FL Gun Exchange is the place to go. However they have absolutely NO toys to put on it. Their prices ain't so bad either. They've got Bushy's RR's, a few Colts (not nearly enough if you ask me), some S&W's, DPM's... last time I was there they even had the Barret 6.8. Preety good guys if you know who to talk to. Some can be jerks, others will actually spend time with you when you have a question. Directions |
The Shop is small but they have a ton on inventory crammed in there. 32 Ar's in stock last time i checked in. |

"the shop is so small"??????? These are the kind of shops that we want. Being able to do FTF deals with the shop owner is waaay better than dealing with the big department store-type stores!!! In this case, when buying from Florida Survivalist, you can be assured that you're getting the best deal and a fair deal. As I was always taught, never judge a book by its cover!!!!!! |
| Shoot Strait of Apopka. Its about 20 minutes or less from Al's Army Navy. They have an indoor pistol range where you can try stuff out. And they sell just about every calibre ammo by the box/case, not to mention they have every AW/BR/fudd gun/Pistol/Revolver you could want, not to mention, gear, mags and ofcourse a few well placed Browning M2s, RPGs, and Panzerschrects (sp) |

Check out AAA gun and Pawn in Deland. They have have the larget inventory I've seen in central Fl. AAA Gun There is another dealer further north on Woodland Blvd. that deals older guns that is worth a look while in Deland. I think the name may be Angevine's I like to stop @ another pawn shop in Orange City on the way back from AAA CFG&P |
Where you are I would try B&H Gun Rack in Merritt Island, they do a lot of LE sales and seem to have good prices. In Orlando the best selection is at Shoot Straight in Apopka. The worst service and prices but the selection is the best . AAA Pawn mentioned above has the most guns I have ever seen crammed into the space. A lot of old stuff but worth checking out.

I second B&H. It is the only place I shop. I love the military discount. :) |

I've been all over Orlando and here is my take on the Shops in the Orlando Area. Bass Pro - No AR's obviously. Otherwise they have a decent selection of Handguns. Prices are consistent with most of the Gun Shops in town. Sales Clerks are not the sharpest in the world. Gander Mountain - Big selection of Firearms including a few AR's. Prices are very high though. Sales Clerks are not the sharpest in the world. Universal Weapons - Small Store with limited selection. Prices are consistent with other Gun Stores in town. Shoot Straight (Apopka and Casselberry) - Best selection of the local stores but prices are high. They have more AR's than most stores. They are willing to deal though. Apopka store is larger. Casselberry store is small and sells mainly handguns. They're the big boy of the local stores. Some Sales Clerks are friendly some are not. Been there many times even though I don't like their prices. East Orange Shooting Sports - Small Store with limited selection. Prices are consistent with other Gun Stores in town. Only been there once. TD Weapons (Cleremont) - Small store with high prices. Limited AR Selection. Sales clerks are always friendly to me. Al's Army Surplus (Orlando and Altamonte Springs) - Bigger selection than most stores. Smaller than Shoot Straight. A few AR's. Prices are consistent with other Gun Stores in town. Orlando store is located right in the middle of one of the worst areas of town. Never been to the Sanford Store. Sales Clerks are always friendly to me. Riegs Gun Shop - Small Store with limited selection. Prices are consistent with other Gun Stores in town. A few AR's if I remember. Only been there once. Shooters Den Gun & Archery (Winter Park) - Small store with limited selection. Not many AR's. Prices seemed high. Sales Clerks are friendly. Southern Oaks Gun & Pawn - Pawn shop with very small selection. Prices seemed high. Sales Clerk the one time I was there laughed when I asked about what .223 and 5.56 ammo they had. Then replied you know there's a war going on and it's hard to find. Never been back since then. Anyway that's my take on the local shops. Over all I think the Gun Store selection in Orlando sucks. Most shops are small and have very limited selection with high prices. I've never been there but Florida Gun Exchange in Port Orange has good prices on their website and I've heard nothing but good things about them. I've heard they have a great selection too. Below is a link to a Google Map that I found on another site that has all of the Gun Shops in Central Florida shown. Link |
