I dont want this to be a bash the R.O.'s or Markham Park thread, but its been a while since Ive shot there (1 Year). How have the rules changed? Ive heard a rumor (most likey BS) about recording serial numbers. Is there a firearm limit per lane? Hope fully I can get my ass out there Sunday. Thanks...

Ignore rumors.
Three firearms per. Rotate from the car if you need to.
Mind the rules and enjoy the trip. Sure there are 'different' ranges if you travel. Markham is at east comfortable and relatively safe.
Timing can count, it becomes crowded during some days.

There is a 3 gun per lane limit.  They changed the pricing to limit you to 2 or 4 hour blocks.  They also make you stuff orange empty chamber flags when you make your firearms safe which can be difficult for some types of guns.  I bring my own for my AR's.  I don't remember when they took the back benches away, but you have to set everything on the ground.  I'm not a big fan of the new time/pricing rules, especially when it is slow out and they have a ton of lanes open.  Sunday morning, sure, but when you have people staying for only 30 minutes to make sure their scope is still sighted in on a dead Saturday afternoon, they should give you some slack.

Thanks. Just wanted to know whats changed. Ive been there since they got rid of the back benches. I have no problem with safety, so it sound like I'll have a good time.

I went 3 weekends ago and signed up for a 2 hour block.  It wasn't crowded, and I got to shoot for 3 hours, either on their mistake or they just didn't care

ETA: they did have a limit on long guns per table...2 I believe. I can't say about pistols.

They got rid of the back benches because someone put a round through the BSO classroom window.  That's also why there's a big concrete wall there now.   Markham's rules are definitely frustrating, but at least we have a longer distance range than just these crappy indoor ranges.   You can always befriend Sharon and try to shoot at Pop's.  :)
