http://www.manateegunclub.com/index.html I went shooting at this range a few weeks back and had a blast. I shot out to the 1k mark and actually hit a few times. My question is: what are the actual distances to the targets? I was told 565 and 1k for the long steelies. Is this true? I only ask because the come ups I had to dial in were for targets a bit closer. It had me questioning either the target ranges or my muzzle velocity. Anybody been out there and actually laser range the tgts? T |
Wow, you drove from Jacksonville to use our range, very flattering! I guess I'm spoiled since I live only a few miles from that range. |
Depends on what target you were looking at, there is a gong and targets at 565 yards and a gong and a big (about) 8'x8' target out at 1000 yards. It all works out very well. There are also target stands at 75, 100, 200, 300, 400 and 500 yards,a berm at 565 yards and then you make the jump to 1000 yards. |
I was doing the same, the RO's didn't have a problem with it, but the people around me did, so I limited to times when there weren't as many people around. |
