If you're really going to do this thing right, send in a minimum ofr 50K troops, put down the kid gloves, level Fallujah, pop a cap in Al Sadr and get those peoples f**ing attention. Or, bring the kids home a let them kill each other.JMHO. |

I gotta agree with nugun... let's go all out and get it done. However... given the mind set of the people in that area, it will NEVER be over! There will always be tribal and sectarian warfare in the Middle East. We need to get the most stable government as possible and then get the hell out, with the caveat that if they start to turn out like Hussein, we'll be back to kill them all... As in every fuckin' one of them. |
We are all entitled to our opinion, That's the reason so many of our kids go into harms way. Weather or not my son reenlists or not is up to him. We will support him just like we did before.20,000 or 100,000 he feels that its the right thing for him to do. I guess that if you listen to the MSM you get the impression that these uneducated soldiers must be reenlisting because there is nothing better for them to do  .My daughter ships out with the Navy in march , She enlisted after two years of college, So that must mean she is patriotic or misguided or maybe she feels that it is better to fight them over seas than to fight them here.My son talks to the recruiter again on monday I'll let you know his decision.Rob |
Rob. you know that a lot of people on this HT board will support 100%. Please do not let him ship out.................with out everything he needs. We want him to have the best equipment, the best training, and the best of our love for what he does for our country.  jj |

My uh-oh comment was directed at the post above mine where the poster commented about killing them all. Not that I disagree with that comment it just seems that usually gets a thread locked around here. I also support our troops 100%. I am so proud of our military these guys are the best most professional soldiers ever. +1 on the comment from jjrockbush, if he needs anything I will be glad to help out. Swamprat51 |

Swamp, I wasn't implying anything other than the poster above being able to have an opinion about the original post. Sorry if it seemed I was aiming my comments at anyone directly. For what its worth I agree it maybe to little to late. But I am still impressed that young people are still willing to fight in a war that seems few people still support. Rob |
