Since we don't have use of the Lake City range for an October match, we've decided to have an informal social get together. Here's the deal, Sunday, Nov. 5th, Bradford Sportsmans Club in Graham, FL. The FDCC crew and guests will have an informal picnic & get together. BYOG, bring your own grub. The range opens at 8am. Range entry fee is $15 per person. There is no set time, if you want to arrive bright & early and shoot until others show up that is fine. There is no course of fire, if you want to bring guns, silencers, etc. for show & tell, if you just want to socialize, if you want other folks to bring guns for you to try, this is the opportunity. There are no planned events, so you are free to come & go as you please, shoot on the ranges where you like. Your welcome to put together little mini matches if you want, whatever. There won't be any problem getting folks to participate. It would be nice if someone brought a grill to share or if someone wants to do some cooking etc. I'm all for it. Bring friends, spouses etc. stanboy555's b'day is the day before, he'll be hung over no doubt, we can pick up the celebration with lots of loud noise and make him feel better. Slug-O can bring the beaver and maybe we can challenge him to a mountain oyster eating contest

No, not the traditional BIG shoot, just a casual social shoot. Do your own thing, if someone wants to have a friendly competition, then bring it. You can leave your guns at home and bring a chair and just b/s if you like. |
I think what Tuna's getting at is that it's always on Sundays & he always has to work. I did't realize it was the 5th... But I can't come either because I support point of sale network for the Jags for all the home games.  David |

Likewise. It's getting dark earlier so I plan to be there before lunch. I'll go right past the Hwy Patrol Station at 441 & NW34th St. Be happy to guide anyone out that hasn't been there before. Ummm.... Ribs.

The anniversary shoot over Thanksgiving weekend is the greatest. This year, I won't have to zip-tie a mag lite to my rifle or revolver. It's going to be a whole new world... Also, hope I win the rifle. It will go well with the EOTech & Vltor stock I won at the last anniversary shoot.

I'll make it to the good 'ole time shoot next week, but not to the Big anniversary FDCC one the end of the month. I'll be in Europe visiting my family

I usually do not have to work on weekends, but this weekend I'm heading to Orlando for a week-long conference. I'd love to attend. I was in Tennessee on vacation for the last shoot/get together. When is the next get together? I'll do what I can to not schedule anything then. When we going to have another Hooters "meeting"? |
