He is not pro gay marriage. He does agree that civil unions are ok on the grounds that it is a contract between two consenting parties. On immigration IIRC, he wants to deal with ones here but prevent the continued flow. He is against abortion, but I believe he doesn't believe it should be illegal. He seems to be more along the Jeb Bush ideology for the most part. Gallagher flip flops constantly. That was one reason I could not stand Kerry. On guns Gallagher was pro AWB and some other things. He also bashed Jeb in 1994 for being Pro-life. With his history, the Dems would rip him to shreds. ETA: someone also posted how Gallagher was taking Crist's 2A stance out of context just to make him look bad and Gallagher look good.
