Do you have a HighDef TV and Directv? Then read on ... Well I have been looking for quite some time to get myself the HighDef Tivo from Directv -- Problem is I refuse to pay $400 for it -- and thats on sale and for a lease. After learning that DTV was dropping the line of Tivo for their own DVR system, which I dislike, I decided to look into getting my TIVO HD DVR ASAP .... soo, after reading online some info on the forums I called DTV and asked then for their "customer retention" department. When there I told them I wanted to switch to comcast cable and would switch if they did not give me a deal on a HD Tivo receiver. They gave it to me free as long as I signed up for Sunday NFL Ticket (5 payments of $48) which I always sign up for anyway. They also gave me free installation, free hbo, cinemax and tivo service for 6 months. |
