My digital print card was 10 days...yes seriously, from the time I dropped it off at the P.O. to when it came back to my house. That was last june. My dad just did his with paper prints, he sent it in early march and it came back this past monday May 8. So around 60 days.

| Digital prints? Ain't heard of that. I can personally say that the wait time has decreased significantly. How can I know that? Because I'm the guy that developed the system they use to process your applications. Before they were part of the Ag Dept anyway. I'm sure things have changed since I left, but I spent over a year telecommuting to Tallahassee revamping their entire workflow process. It was pretty cool to see the way things improved. And as a note, your prints don't (or didn't) hold up anything. The license can still be issued before getting word back from the FBI. If your prints are flagged they just revoke the license. |
Happened to me as well!!! Man it sucked, took 70 days to get mine!! That was in 2003 so hope your is faster. Mike

what, did you take my class ?????           i mention AR15.com (hometown fla) in my class but i didnt think anyone was listening.. but yes, your pic,(no matter what you do to yourself) will look like a terrorist, or something equily bad on your ccw pic.. i think they use durtbag-shop to scan the pic's into the computer or something???? |
