Can I purchase a handgun with just a CCW or do I also need my FL drivers license?

Do you live in FL or NY?

I'm pretty sure you need to be a resident of FL to buy a gun in FL.

Your FL CCW just allows you to carry in FL.

You are required to carry you FL DL with your CCW in any event. Any gun purchases that I've made recently, I have been required to provide my FL DL and CCW.

You can buy a handgun in Florida, but you can't leave the shop with it. It will have to be sent to an FFL in NY before you can take possession of it.

I'm assuming you have a non-resident Florida CWP...
