NFA RIPOFF!!! I do not recommend buying, trading, or dealing with BILL (William) VADSEN or CONCEPT SOLUTIONS of Florida! *I e-mailed one of the site staff and asked them if this was okay to post in the team area. Green light was given, so you will see this reposted there* Here is the way this pans out (and is the short version, I have sent a lot more e-mail to Bill trying to resolve this than you care to read about): October 26 2004- A person by the name of Brad Mushkey posts this ad on Subguns.com; FOR SALE: Glock AWC .40 suppressor & 2 barrels Ad Number: 5094 Date Posted: 10/26/04 Price $450 Glock 23 and 27 threaded barrels w/protectors and .40 Abaxas suppressor. Only test fired to see if gun cycled. $425 All NFA rules apply, buyer pays shipping and stamp. October 27- I contact the e-mail address listed on the ad stated I would buy the package for (no the two prices are not an accident, that is the way the ad was listed verbatim). I was e-mailed back by Bill Vadsen who clarified the price to be $450. November 4- After a few e-mails and a phone call while waiting for a picture and Form 4 to confirm he had the package, payment was made this day for $450 on this day. I gave Bill my Class 3 dealer’s info and asked him to contact my dealer to start the paperwork. November 13- Received both barrels in the mail. December 7- Bill has still not contacted my dealer. I call and e-mail him again for the suppressor information so the paperwork can be started. After many excuses, I finally get a fax from Bill with the Form 4 info. (Bill states he owns Concept Solutions of Tampa, even though his “secretary” sends the fax from a Kinko’s in North Miami). My dealer sends out a completed transfer form for Bill to sign and return to start the transfer. January 9- No forms have been returned. A few status check e-mails have not been returned. Messages to cell phone are not returned either. I finally get an e-mail response from Bill who states that he never received the form to sign to start the transfer. January 10- I mail out a duplicate Form 4 already filled out so all Bill has to do is sign and return. January 27- Bill states that he is at his other office and has not received the forms yet. That same day, I mail out another Form 4 to his “other office” so the are no more excuses. March 7- Bill says he has not received the forms yet (why can’t he do his own form to resolve this?). Bill states he will contact my dealer. March 9- I fill out ANOTHER Form 4 in PDF format and e-mail it to him. This way he cannot say he did not get it. Bill says, “good idea”. April 17- I e-mailed Bill the day before and he responds that he has still not received the paperwork. He says this while responding in the thread of e-mails we have had going for some time now. Guess what, an e-mail that Bill replied to shows the Form 4 attached. Didn’t get it huh? So here we are, April 19th and still no paperwork started on the suppressor that I PAID FOR! This guy is a real piece of work. He seemed like a legit fellow-gun/Class 3 owner in the beginning. I do not know why someone who goes through the trouble of getting a legit Class 3 item would pull crap like this. But I would certainly not want one my ARF bothers getting ripped off by this clown like I apparently have. Bill Vadsen has not even come close to making a reasonable effort to see this deal through. In an effort to abide by the recent Team Forum postings to not thread peoples personal information on the board, I will e-mail Bill’s North Miami and Tampa, Florida addresses, phone #, and e-mail address to board members, so they know if they find themselves in a firearm related transaction with him, don’t do it! Any help in getting this matter resolved is appreciated. TS |
I do not think that I have metioned the Concept Solutions before. I did a post in the Team Area awhile back with Bill's name to see if anyone knew him and could help me out on getting this resolved. What is BOI? Thanks Osprey21 TS |
"Board of Inquiry". It's a forum where you can check on dealers reputations and, if necessary, out the bad ones. subguns.com/boards/inquiry.cgi |

| Sorry to hear about your experience with this bad seller. You have alot more patience than me. I think if I did not get the paperwork back within 2-3 weeks I would have lost my cool. I believe everyone deserves a chance to rectify a problem, but 6 months is horrible. I hope you get this resolved without losing any money. |
