Dear Constituent: Today the Florida House of Representatives passed Senate Bill 436 regarding the protection of persons and property. This bill provides families and individuals with an increased ability to defend their homes and loved ones. I was proud to vote in favor of this necessary and beneficial law. Thank you for taking the time to write me and share your concerns with me. Sincerely, Rep. Paige Kreegel Representative, District #72 410 Taylor Street Punta Gorda, Florida 33950 ----------------- GOOD STUFF!!!!! |
i believe so, but nra sent me this: Attention Florida Members! Castle Doctrine Bill PASSED Florida House 94-20! Last Thursday the Florida House of Representatives substituted SB-436 by Sen. Peaden for HB-249 by Rep. Baxley because the Senate bill had already passed the Senate 39-0. This morning the Florida House of Representatives took up the Senate version of the Castle Doctrine bill and PASSED it 94-20. The bill now goes to Governor Jeb Bush. He has the option of Signing, Vetoing, or letting it become law without signature. We urge Governor Bush to sign this bill. Please send email to Governor Bush to ask him to sign SB-436/Castle Doctrine. IN THE SUBJECT LINE OF YOUR EMAIL PUT: PLEASE SIGN SB-436 - Personal Protection/Castle Doctrine Send email to Governor Bush at the following email address: [email protected] Thank you for all your help.
