| In case you were wondering, FDCC does not take a holiday break and we will be shooting, as always, on the last Sunday of this month. We'll be out there at 9:30am on December 28th, at the Lake City range. Maybe some of us using new Christmas presents?! I hope to see you out there with us! |

Give this a try if you have a nice fast connection. I think it's about 13mb. Great looking video, with sound too!! http://www.imagestation.com/album/?id=4289174009&p=4196958288&idx=60 If link no workie, then go to imagestation.com and pull up my album. A search for Neeglik or FDCC should find it. If someone would, please post here and let me know if that link works. It's my first time linking to video. Stephen |

Hey all: Thanks again to all for a great time today. Thanks to N. for loaning his scoped rifle to my daughter (which she loved, by the way) and his AR15 rifle to me for the shootoff. Thanks also for loaning us the VEPR for the photo op. Thanks to J. for loaning us the Ruger. I know that you worked to change out the grips and all, but my kid lost interest for some reason. Go figure an 8 year old changing her mind. Sheesh. ![]() Thanks to new-arguy for loaning us the Ceiner conversion kit. It worked great and it brought tears to my wife's eyes to see my daughter firing my M4gery and tearing up a target with it. By the way, Chuck has gotten it removed from my upper without further incident. What a great day. -White Horse |
"Imagestation does not support streaming video" It no workee. |

Man what a shoot, I think I got almost 2 hours sleep last knight (5 week old)and I was about to go to sleep on the drive home. I just want to say thank you to Chuck and Hawkeye for taking the time to help me with my bad handgun shooting. I already see positive results just from the few minutes of couching they offered me. Now that I know what I am suppose to do with it, maybe I can start getting some hits in. Whitehorse, your littel one can shoot better than you, but you should be proud. Just let me know if you would like to try the Ruger again. |
The link works fine for me. After following the link, Log into Imagestation and download the mpg. The file is aprox 13mb so it will take several seconds for the broadband users. From Imagestation: "ImageStation does not support streaming of video clips. You can download the original video clip for viewing on your computer by using the link provided here." |
Just making it hot. |

Glad you liked the video. I have to work on the settings on our camera to get them a bit smaller in size. Here are the other two that I have.... www.imagestation.com/album/pictures.html?show_all=0&id=4289174009&start=61 Both are on that page. Enjoy, Stephen |

ACK... Just watched the video of myself again. How embarrassing. I was having so much trouble with the darn clay pigeons we had up. The absolute worst I've ever done at a meet. Oh well, I guess it could have been worse. At least there's no video of the first CoF. Can you say, three mag changes?? *sigh* Stephen |

Neeglik, the other video's are great. Burney's really making that uzi talk; nice short bursts. I really like your car prop. I shot an IDPA match a while ago that used a real car. The COF started the shooter with both hands on an open trunk. At the start signal, the shooter was to close the trunk, engage a target at almost contact distance, and then take cover behind the car. There were three more targets that were engaged from around the side of the car. Everything was going great until one of the shooters put two rounds through the passenger side mirror. I'll make a note of your set-up. |
Just about everybody got boogered up on the pigeons. |

I was birthed in January 1967 at St. Joseph's in Tampa, and was moved to NC at the ripe old age of 2, due to Daddy's job at the new Schlitz Brewery there. The WS brewery has since closed. I grew up in Winston-Salem, and relocated to Lake City in 95, due to my bride's job. After 4 years, we moved back home to NC. NC is my home, though I do miss loading up the truck and running 15 minutes to the Osceola range, walking the borrow pits in January for huge bass(I caught a 9 and 11 pounder on my birthday on the same day, 2 different pits, circa 1997, what a birthday!), busting the tip off my flipping stick on a 8 pounder that was holding on a stick up on a half drunk Friday evening trip to a pit with the jon boat where we popped the belly out of a cottonmouth trying to get across the road(I spilled my drink swerving to hit that bastage)...etc. How's that for a run on sentence? There are many, many more things I miss about living in FL, but it's still good to be home. Maybe some day..... Damn, those borrow pits are good fishin! If you haven't tried them, get to it! This time of year, if you're totaly against live bait (crawfish!), take a tube jig, put a chunk of Alka-Seltzer up its ass, and flip it into the bed. Catch and release...... Relocate it as necessary and hang on. |
| I was born in Goldsborol NC. Lived there until I was 3, then we moved just outside of Raleigh on 401 going west until we moved down to sunny Florida. My Father's side of the family is rooted here. Man, I can't say I miss NC that much. So much has changed that I had a very hard time remembering what all has been bulldozed the last time I drove through 3 years ago. Nothing ever stays the same. |
I don't know what you consider the "lower end" but we had an SFDCC (South Florida Defensive Carbine Club) for a couple of months. The biggest hinderance down here in Broward/Dade/Palm Beach is the lack of facilities that we can use. PM me if you're interested in trying to help set something up again. |
