Bought a 9KT late 2019. Absolute fits getting it to run at all. Bolt gap was none existent. Pulled the bolt head down and the rollers fell out along with drill shavings. The retainer plate was in two pieces. Cleaned everything out, installed a new plate, reassembled and still no gap. Found the bolt head so loose on the locking piece it was drooping and hitting the magazine feed lips, hard enough it broke the mag lip off one side. I ordered up a locking piece from RCM and fit it to the bolt… initially it didn’t want to insert into the bolt head. A little fiddling and once together with some lube it smoothed out. The recoil spring was also really weak. I replaced it as an assembly. Once everything was ready I used a small amount of extra fine valve lapping compound on the rails fired 10 rounds. Disassembled and flushed then dropped to polishing compound and fired 10 rounds and flushed. Complete disassembly and cleaned. Grease and oiled where it counts. Gap is spot on. Bolt head doesn’t hit the top of the mags. Gun functions like a sewing machine, stupid accurate!!! ETS replaced the broken mag without hesitation. I even explained the cause of the mag failure to them. I use KCI metal and AC Unity plastic mags without any failures. 2900 rounds at last count with zero stoppages. It spends most of its time in a backpack as my go bag gun. I trust it 💯! |

This rifle got expensive, fast Picked up my milkman yesterday, and mounted it with the Resilient tri lug obtained via OCL. I can easily see how the additional width and different design should make it quieter than the Lithium. Can’t wait to shoot it and report back, but I have a work trip coming up this weekend to temper my enthusiasm. |

Nothing much to add other than a couple pictures with the tri-lugged milkman:  And that I have plans to try it out next weekend, I hope. It still feels like nothings on the end, just like with the Lithium. But now I can leave my Lithium as direct thread for pistols and eventually my .357 Lever Action (once I get that threaded). ETA: any good WML suggestions to get a light a bit farther forward than the Handguard, both so my support thumb has space and hopefully so it won’t cast as much shadow with the milkman? Seems a shame that the current crop of Surefure forend clones don’t have MLOK slots at the 6 o clock for a VFG, or that would be the obvious route to go. |

The SF forends you can't use with a tri-lug mounted suppressor. It's annoying as hell. I did a direct thread on the Milkman to play with the SF forend but it looked so goofy with the tri-lug mount just sitting there unused. ETA picture  |
