View Quote We shoot it suppressed now, indescribable fun. Only a .22LR Umarex (now even discontinued, so it's now considered rare) but compatible with actual accessories for G36s. Decided to still go for actual, super expensive parts because they can be separated from the build and sold next day for more than purchased for. HKG36 .22LR und G44 by Solo__, on Flickr |

Getting this setup for some nighttime fun. Still need to get a optic mount and riser.
Currently using the Midwest Industries picatinny rail to mount the TLR-VIR-II but would like to find something a little thinner to keep the light mounted as tight as possible. Attached File Attached File Attached File |

Makes the light almost disappear since it’s on the same plane as the grip and magazine. |

They actually have a mechanism to make it not fold when it's collapsed, because you'll block your ejection port. They are part of a proper G36 flex, though. |

View Quote @MikeMilligan I bought that mount, the rail section itself is the same thickness as the Midwest one I’m currently using but because it stands off it actually makes the light stand off further away from the gun as well as it’s intended purpose and pushing the light forward. I still might use it wether it be on this gun or another. |

I'm thinking it's a cheaper solution than the B&T. It's actually not bad. The angle of my picture makes the stock look a bit small. If you're referring to the B&T collapsing stock, which I've had, I think the KES is a bit better. The B&T is wider and with the notches cut into the top, it rides on your face. |

We did a comparison and the laser and illuminator were pretty close to my peq. I think he has like a few hundred or maybe a thousand rounds on his AR with the somogear and no issues. |

Where are you guys finding those rear take-down pin, QD sling swivels? A friend of mine would love to get one of those as a stocking stuffer. Please advise.
Thanks. |
