Need some advice. I added a few goodies to this already, but I want my optic to sit a bit higher. Is scalarworks the way to go? Also, I have seen a few Ks with lights mounted. Can you share how you mounted your lights without an Mlok handguard? Attached File |

The wheel works with a pretty thin rail, I don’t think you would have clearance issues  It doesn’t protrude much  The lower 1.57 mount was perfect as it was just high enough that the hood barely peaking i to the bottom of the sight picture but doesn’t obscure anything. |

Shot for the first time today (Form 1 approved a couple weeks ago). 150rds 115gr ball and Bureau-surplus 147gr Speer G2 JHP, in German and Turkish magazines. Flawless. I’m the second owner, and I blame recovering from a colonoscopy for the purchase. Has about 1k rds thru it before me and some small parts replaced with German parts. MKE stuff in the bag. Just waiting on my trilug adapter at this point. 90 degree locker and magpul safety installed tonight (not pictured) MAC5K. Going to run it hard and then see how things wear in before stocking up on mags and making it a SBR. Question is if the Timney trigger is any good, as I've been debating one if it runs well.

A fair number of fail to feeds in 200rds today suppressed and unsuppressed, but I'm pretty sure the bulk of those are mag related. I'll troubleshoot it more later and see if I can sort it. Otherwise, everything feels 100% so far. I'll tear it down in a week or two and detail clean it to see if there's any weird wear. No roller marks at least. I might replace the mag release and paddle with HK parts when I order spare springs and misc parts. |

I've ordered a Century AP5 SD Pistol and want to try it with my YHM R9 after break in with 124g NATO ammo. I've read they can be sensitive to bullet shape. What 147g 9MM should I use when suppressed? |

Watched the movie 6 Days last week, and needed to scratch that MP5 itch  Got her tested at the range today and all 150 rds of FMJs ran fine. I was quite surprised at how accurate this thing is albeit its trigger is atrociously bad. It is time for a Timney trigger pack. Thanks to your recommendations, I picked up Mora Arms 20 and 30 rds magazines, they are nice and functioned 100%. Attached File |

With the A2 or the b&t folder it’s an excellent sight with full co-witness. I’ve also put in a g3 style rear sight so the “v” makes it so the rear sight is completely out of the way to just use the dot. Cool setup in some situations. |
