Picked up 5 more HK mags from B&T Parts. I love this SP-5 but damn I’m going to be $750 into mags when it’s all said and done.

Wonder what will happen first, that, or the sidefolding stocks and german diopter drums becoming available again? |

You’ll have your stamps back before rear sights pop up anywhere.

View Quote I’m normally a “ew US made parts?” guy, but really, Just get the US made drum - it matches the finish better than the HK drum, it installs easily and functions as expected. I was grouping about 1.5” at 50 yards. Big improvement from the OEM castle sight. I shoot this too much to wait any longer on an HK sight, and I was going to use this until the HKs are available but after seeing it installed I’m going to keep it. |

Let's see what comes in first----my eform1s, or my stocks. Seeing "ETA 4-6 weeks" unchanged for a month now doesn't give me a lot of confidence. I also said screw it and ordered the US made HKparts sights. I've had these things a while now and can't wait to use them. I think I'm going to order a GSL Phoenix now too. |

Quoted: Gave into my base urges and got myself a SP5. CA date code and very nice quality. https://www.AR15.Com/media/mediaFiles/495488/20200525_185848_jpg-1432979.JPG View Quote Congratulations, I love mine and have no regrets. |

Got an email notification that Primary Arms had them in stock. Just happened to have my email up and saw it come in. FO'd... now I'm part of the SP5 club. My wallet hates me now, but whatever.

This is weird getting stamps back this fast. I feel like I got caught with my pants down though because the stocks I want are impossible to get.

Good excuse to find a cheap A3F stock to use in the interim.

Anyone know where to find a sp5k? Or know when they’re doing another run?

Quoted: There’s an older A3 on GB for with a bid under $75. I threw a bid at it and will tear it apart and correct the issue it’s having if I win the bid. What are the F’a going for now? Are they not sub-$350 anymore? View Quote 500 4 pos 600 2 pos I was able to find exactly one NIW HK made A2 stock and it was on GB for retail. That will be what holds me over until B&T can deliver. Plus it never hurts to have the A2 around. I bought the last sight from Gatewood as well. It is used and came with more than just the drum but I want to shoot one of these already. |

View Quote @762AR25 Why does the 4 position stocks cost less that the 2 position stocks when you have more positions/lengths you can adjust the 4 position stocks to? |

I have a two I’d if anyone with a new in packaging 4 pos wants a swap. I want just a tad shorter than the extended position...

I bit the bullet and got an SP5 off of Gunbroker for $2900 BIN. Should get it today or tomorrow. Pretty excited.

It's here! It was bought through Mile High Shooting in Erie, CO. No problems at all, 2 day turn around.

Quoted: Kinda figured that. Out of curiosity, what were they going for when supply is plentiful? View Quote Arms unlimited was selling the Euro marked (arguably a better looking gun) versions up until about a month ago for $2,995. That’s the only place I’ve seen them in stock on a regular (non gunbroker auction site) in a while. |

I have not seen any new non gun broker sp5k’s in almost a year. |

Quoted: I have not seen any new non gun broker sp5k’s in almost a year. View Quote Yeah my assumption is that they paused production on the K to produce the full size SP5, which makes business sense as it is more popular. Could also be truth to the rumor of an updated sp5k coming with paddle and three lug barrel. |

I can't wait to shoot it. Should get 4 more mags in a few days.

Quoted: Man that kinda sucks, I do not like the looks of that at all. HK could fuck up a wet dream. View Quote Yeah I agree, it's pretty ugly. They've been serializing UMP lowers for some time, but they're marked on the bottom of the trigger guard and it's nowhere near as unsightly as this. |
|
MP5 lowers are serialized too, but it’s usually on the metal front plate that’s not seen once the lower is installed.

Nice pickup!! But holy shit what kinda dog is that? Adorable! Lol

Anyone know of one for $2500 or less? I'm even looking for used

Is there general consensus on the best way (and cheapest way, if it's different from the "best" way), to make an SP5 SBR 922(r) compliant?

Quoted: Is there general consensus on the best way (and cheapest way, if it's different from the "best" way), to make an SP5 SBR 922(r) compliant? View Quote Cheapest and easiest way would be US mag (3 parts), handguard (1 part), grip frame (1 part), stock (1 part) If you want to retain the ability to use german mags you can replace the mag with US made trigger, hammer, and sear |
