Quoted: Quoted: Just under $2900 at Scheels. Was on a list and they received 3 of them. Thankful I answered the phone when they called lol. Lucky!!! i over payed for mine No such thing, unless you’re overpaying those crazy Gunbroker prices etc. IMO and I have, rather pay a bit more to have something I want in-hand right away and to enjoy now…vs waiting on these. kudos to those who have gotten these at a steal nevertheless… |

What do you think is a fair price for an SP5L?
Seems like you could get them on gunbroker a few months ago for around $2300, but that doesn’t seem to be the case anymore. There’s one locally for $2700, but that seems high for a configuration that no one asked for. Only reason I want one is for an SD conversion, which seems like the only thing an SP5L would be good for. Follow up question, anyone have any idea if HK will continue to make the L for much longer? Because it seems like it wouldn’t be a good seller, especially when they sell every standard SP5 and K faster than they can make them. |
|
I've been waiting and watching for an sp5 since they were released, with funds earmarked. They're high if they think I'm paying 3200 for it. I'm sure some will, but thats a bridge too far for me.
It sucks but i guess I'll scratch the itch with a century clone. |

I made my own thread about this but I’ll post it here. $2859 at Sportsmans. Found by chance. $3111 after tax I think. Passed on one at my local shop for $2700 two years ago.

While out bow shopping at KYGUNCO. They had this beauty on display for over a year at $3999 and I could never pull the trigger at that price. By dumb luck I walked in on the right day. This was the last one at the Bardstown store, but the new store in Louisville may have one. It’s worth a call if you’re interested.

Quoted: Awesome! You going to out a brace on it? View Quote Yeah, definitely a brace at least. I'd rather not form 1 it since I do a lot of road trips and air travel mixed in, and would rather not deal with notifying ATF. Luckily, I have a DA Wolfman already e-filed for the MPX-K and Scorpion, and now I'll get a good comparison between the 3. |

Sp5k PDW $3899
https://hkpartspro.com/hk-sp5k-pdw-roller-delayed-blowback-3-lug-barrel-paddle-mag No affiliation… But it’s right under gunbroker prices.. |

Quoted: Battlehawk Armory shows in stock SP5. $3433.88 SP5 They also have the SP5L in stock for $2499.88 SP5L This is tempting to buy and chop the barrel down. Is a tri lug worth an extra $1000? View Quote I'd hold out for a normal SP5 ... they've been dropping in prices. You can find one around $2800-3000 if you're a little patient maybe even lower |

Scheels has them for $2999 plus shipping. Call Derek at Minot store 701-852-1010. He has 3.

Midway has the SP5 in stock

Quoted: I was asked a couple of good questions about the HK MP5 MLI optic rail. I installed it this morning on my SP5. The iron sight picture is completely uncluttered and GTG with the rail installed. In the pic below, while the front sight is blurred, you can see that it is fully functional. Additionally, there is enough room (and a relief cut in the mount) to allow all the HK slap one could want. I will say, however, if you have very large hands and aggressively use an overhand motion to yank the charging handle back, you can contact the mount. It hits on the rounded relief cut area. https://i.imgur.com/NpwmUgw.jpg https://i.imgur.com/9qloVwU.jpg https://i.imgur.com/1PT6Wpz.jpg View Quote Looks cool. I considered it but went with the BT universal its about the same size and weight and you still can use the sights and the charging handle as normal, but it was only $100 |

View Quote $340 for a mount? What does it do so much better to justify that price??? |
