[ARCHIVED THREAD] - C308 optic selection

I absolutely love my C308, Have had no issues with it at all. My problems though have been with my optics. I was running a bushnell scope in a weaver qd mount but the other day it twisted in the mount after a high round count. I loosened everything and re tightened every thing properly and the same thing happened. So now id like your thoughts on a one piece optic option such as a prism sight like an acog. The only stipulation I have though is that i dont want to spend a whole lot of money. Any ideas?

High round count? What are you shooting....a 1000 rounds at a time?

Cheapest route is to buy a better set of rings.

Look at Primary Arms for inexpensive but good quality optics.

I put about 100 rounds through it. The mount and everything is nice, I should have just gon with the prism sight though since I don't have to worry about the charging lever.

Okay, well 100 rounds is NOT a high round count.
