I just picked up my PTR32 and noticed that it has a skeletonized steel charging handle without the rubber cover.
I know there were some complaints about these coming off and wanted to see if PTR stop putting them on or did they possibly forget to install it? My only concern is possibly beating up the cocking tube when the steel handle repeatedly slaps against it. |

It sounds like they used the old style G3 charging handle. You can pick up one of the new style charging handles for $10 at RTG parts. That's what I was thinking since I saw a post from another PTR owner stating that his rifle came with a metal charging handle. |
