I just got a CETME and noticed the fire selector is bass-ackwards. Why would they want to flip down to safe and up to fire??? Anyway... anyone know what would hypothetically be the best way to change that if I ever decided I could'nt live with it?

The CETME can be easily modified so that down is fire and middle is
safe all you have to do is grind down the "bb" on the trigger housing
that keeps the selector from going to the bottom position. Once you do
that the CETME selector arrangement will be up for fire, middle for
safe, and down for fire, giving you 2 fire positions.

By bb I assume you mean the little bump thing that stops the selector when it reaches safe? Thats spiffy...thx

I'll be, never knew/thought of that...

The only issue you may have is some 'tard at the range will think that the selector goes to FA
