i have a couple pelican cases. and i have cut some of the foam. one for my ar and one for my ptr91. but i just finished building my first mp5 clone, now im thinking about a case for it.
i have a cheap alum. case (harbor freight) that it fits in but i think once i SBR it im gonna get a pelican for it. anyhow it got me thinking. anyone custom cut soam foam for their hk's. i was gonna start this post with a pic but im at work. i'll try to add it later. but uh... how bout it? anyone want to show um? |
| You might try looking here. It's mostly ARs but there are a bunch of pages to go thru and I didn't look at all of them by any means. |

i know that thread and the one in the build it yourself section that has plans to build the foam cutter.
i just have yet to see soem hk's in the foam. thought it would be nice to see some. like i said im about to do my mp5 and just looking to see what others have doen with their mp5's (and other hk's) for cases. there's a k on page 12 but thats just thrown in a laptop case. |
