could i buy that .22 version the 416, and put in a 5.56 barrel and BCG? |
| Nope. Not a chance. Its not even close to the same thing. A .22lr frame is not built to a 5.56 gas piston specs. Let alone you can't just put a bolt and BCG in it. You would need the full upper, and the gas piston that goes with it, before you could ever think about shooting 5.56 out of it. And the upper is the big bucks item. |
